BUSINESS CARDS

For the assignment submission I prepared 3 different variations of the business card in two colours as a press ready file. I printed all 3 and will submit. I thought it would be interesting to play with it a little and have them on different grounds with slight variations. The overall representation and feel was the same for each layout but it was an experiment to see how strong the logo would stand in different layout contexts. I felt they all worked well on screen. I shall see how they print up come time to print. Not sure if I will use all or just one layout type.
To note also, I think the logo is really strong as white on black ground.

GARMENT LABELLING
From before, when I was experimenting with the logotype in different ways according to application, I decided to stick with doing some garment labelling with just the iconography and some with just the typography, and some with both. I like the way that my logotype works well in both black and white grounds and also in different scales, layouts. This is going to work well being a designer, when it comes to things such as smaller garment tabs, embroidered patches, and actual labels etc.

PRODUCT PACKAGING

For my product packaging, I wanted to keep it simple. My bags will be simple paper bags and dust bags. In this case, I needed something to just protect and seal. I did not want branding all over the bags screaming the labels name. I wanted to keep it small subtle and clean.
For this reason, I looked at doing a tissue wrap, black with just the typography running diagonally across. I thought that the outlined letters and block letters gave a nice highlight across the material.

I also used the logo symbol and typography separately as stickers. These would be to use on bags given to clients and customers. I will do an example of this in the submission.
